Abdul Muneer Pullanthodi is a prime example of a self-made entrepreneur. Starting out in business with Abdulla Issa Flour Mill- an enterprise his father entrusted to him. A strong believer that a business’ success depends on knowing the customer, he learned everything he could about business from the Deira market. He observed the various minutia of business, and adapted it into his own ventures. Eventually, he felt that it was time for his company to grow beyond a flour mill. That is when he established Rinum Holdings. After its success, he recognized that the company needed a brand that people could connect with. So he established Fryday – one of UAE’s most trusted food brands. Staying true to his vision of providing the best value to customers, he ensured that every product he released met the highest standards in terms of quality. It has grown into the other sub brands, Fryze, Frytea and Lac today, each excelling in their niches. He has set his sights even further already, with plans in place to expand to other countries in the middle east, and also in India – his home country. And with his firm belief that nothing can stop a man with a plan and determination, he keeps planning his next moves.
